After many years of trying to get my glaucoma under control, I was referred to Dr Cohen and I am so very grateful for that recommendation. I was pretty nervous when I saw Dr. Cohen for the first time and he told me I need to have cataracts removed in both eyes. And he would insert lenses to replace my coke bottle glasses. I had been struggling with my vision over the past few years. Working on a computer every day was getting harder and harder. I had my work arounds but I got tired of hearing myself say, “what does that say”, “I can’t see it”. Watching a movie with subtitles was exhausting. Dr. Cohen put my mind at ease right away and talked me through what he was going to do making sure I understood exactly what was about to happen. I am a living miracle! Before the reading eye chart was so sad but now I can read the eye chart from across the room. Down to pretty small print. Because I was so myopic I will still need readers for reading labels and tiny print up close. I can see my computer screens perfectly. Thanks to Dr. Cohen’s talent and skill I came through the procedures on both eyes with flying colors. No pain during the operation and minimal discomfort afterward. Don’t be afraid, you are in good hands. Shout out to the office team for their help and kindness!

Being a professional artist I have always been careful of my eyes and hands. I was scared to death when I started to develop cataracts. I now see better than I did when younger. Dr. Cohen and his staff were wonderful through the whole process. Don't be afraid of the surgery if you need it. You're in good hands.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen for just about a year. I was fortunate to have been referred to him by my Ophthalmologist to treat me for early-onset Glaucoma. I am a 50-year-old man who, unfortunately, has been plagued with several other medical conditions in addition to the Glaucoma. Dr. Cohen tried treating me first with non-surgical methods; however, they were not successful, before, during, and after surgery, Dr. Cohen was amazing. Dr. Cohen is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors you will ever find, and I have seen my fair share of specialists. Dr. Cohen takes his time; you never feel rushed he explains and makes sure you are entirely comfortable with everything that Is happening. My case was severe due to my other conditions, but Dr. Cohen never gave up; Dr. Cohen was always there, educating, and calming me. He saved my sight, and I will always be grateful to him. I could not have found a better Dr., no matter how far I traveled!
